Description The Calcium Phosphate Transfection method for delivering DNA into mammalian cells is based on a mechanism that a calcium phosphate-DNA precipitate can help DNA enter cells by endocytosis. This method was first developed by Graham and van der Ebb (1) and was later modified by Wigler (2). We further develop this method by optimization and simplification. This kit is optimized for in vitro transfection in HEK 293T cells, best choice for virus package.
Key Benefits:
- Extremely low cytotoxicity
- Higher efficiency, very compatible to lipid-based transfection reagents.
- No or minimum “differentiation impact” to your cells
- Simple and quick operation, vertexable, eliminating “Tube B” and special warnings such as “ slow” and “dropwise”
